I co-founded Namaka with my partner, Lauren, in 2018. Together, we developed the branding, packaging, product formulations, website, sales and marketing strategy, and much, much more. Without the help of investors and with a zero-dollar advertising budget, we landed the brand in Urban Outfitters and various retailers nationwide within 6 months of launching.
When we founded Namaka — as two creative doers and women entrepreneurs — we sought to put a fresh spin on the then-saturated, minimalist skincare world. To make self care more accessible. More fun. More inclusive.
We aimed to push the boundaries of what high quality skincare looks like, how much it costs, and who uses it. We aimed to build a brand and product line that, put simply, just made people happy. And what we found was that resonated with everyone who encountered Namaka.
